"A naturalist is a person who studies the world of nature and marvels in it..."
and students at the University of South Carolina have
that opportunity--to study nature, marvel in it and learn
from one of the best naturalists around. Rudy Mancke joined the School
of the Environment as a Distinguished Lecturer in Natural History. For the
Spring 2007 semester, Mr. Mancke is teaching
Natural
History of South Carolina to undergraduate students. He is providing our students with hands-on
experience with the environment by taking them on field trips across the
state. To see pictures of these field trips, click on the links
